1. Not planning my image before I start , unless I have an idea when I wake up (therefore not binding myself to replication , time frames or repeating anything. This in turn creates a feeling of real freedom)
2. Letting this be my playground for experimenting
3. a useful tool in commitment ( having to produce images weekly keeps us on our toes)
I cant stress enough the importance of playtime, or craft time. It has been echoed through many other artists and illustrators. If you want to stay fresh and keep moving with style, look at things long term. It is the Journey cliche and we are constantly tuning and honing our craft every step of the way.
Get out there and Make, or Create.
